Concentration of AHA 50 C.I. depends on the desired cosmetic effect.

AHA acids can show two effects depending on the concentration:

  • 2-5% concentration of acids in the formula: it improves moistening of horny layer as a result of binding water molecules by hydrogen bonds created between H2O molecules and hydroxyl groups of AHA acids.

  •  5-10% concentration of acids in the formula: it stimulates cellular regeneration, improves exfoliation of the epidermis and makes the skin smooth by lowering cohesion between corneocytes by means of AHA acids.
