Zagęszczacz polimerowy

Polymer thickener

Polymer thickener is a polysaccharide of microbiological origin. It is obtained as a result of carbohydrate substrate’s fermentation through the bacteria Xanthomonas campestris. It is a perfect hydrocolloid which provides products with proper density and stability. Xnathan solutions have high viscosity and are perfect for the production of suspensions. Xnathan gum shows a high compatibility towards vegetable polysaccharides, lipids, proteins, detergents and essential oils.

INCI:  Sodium Acrylate / Sodium Acryloyldimetylo Taurate Copolimer i izoheksadekan i polisorbate 80

The polymer thickener is an innovative, neutral polymer in a ready-to-use form. It is ideal for transparent gels, creams and formulations using acids. Very good for use in cold emulsions (add after cooling the formulation). It can be used in the pH range from 4.5 to 11. After application, it immediately creates gels and creams. It does not require the use of other adjuvants. Very good emulsion stabilizer. It does not cause the finished product to roll.

How to use:
Creams, balms:
After combining the oil phase and water phase, we cool the mixture. After cooling to room temperature, add small amounts of thickener and mix intensively. Mix for about 2 to 3 minutes until the cream thickens completely. Finally, we add extracts, active substances and vitamins (temperature-sensitive substances).

Cold-formed transparent gels:
After mixing the substances contained in the recipe, finally add the thickener and mix intensively. Mix until the cosmetic thickens.
Method of packaging:

- plastic pharmaceutical bottles
