Lanolin is a natural wax whose composition is very similar to lipidic layer of human epidermis. This product is made in the process of cleaning sheep's wool from any impurities so it may be added in its pure form to series of face and skin care cosmetics. Lanolin is an unbeatable ingredient which regulates water management in the skin and has valuable properties of softening hard epidermis.
Plum seed oil is non-refined and cold-pressed oil obtained from the seeds of Prunus domestica. It gets easily absorbed by the epidermis and does not leave a sticky residue. The oil makes your lips moistened and firm. It is especially recommended for mature, sensitive and dry skin. When applied onto the skin, it makes it smooth, soft and silky. The oil is perfect for massage purposes and to maintain healthy condition of your skin. Additionally, it has perfect softening properties and high amount of nourishing substances.
What is more, the product has beautiful marzipan fragrance.
Plum seed oil is perfect emollient and antioxidant. It has a high content of oleic (68%) and linoleic (23%) acids. Besides, it contains anti-oxidants and vitamin E.
Caprilic/Capric Triceride is a blend of fatty acids produced from coconut oil undergoes esterification with glycerine. It keeps water inside skin by creating a barrier on its surface. Caprilic is a neutral oil, an ideal greasy substance, which protects your skin. The skin becomes elastic, soft and smooth. It also has preserving properties. Caprilic is created by means of esterification with glycerine. As a result we receive esters of octatonic acid and saturated capric acid.
Isopropyl myristate is a cosmetic ingredient produced from fatty acids. Ester of palmitic acid with isopropyl alcohol. It is synthetically produced ester which takes the form of thin oil used in cosmetics in place of natural lipids. This substance is a great emollient and dissolving agent which decreases viscosity of cosmetics.
Wosk pszczeli Beeswax is important in cosmetics because it prevents skin from drying and contains strong nourishing substances which have oiling and protective properties. It makes your skin more elastic and soft, and keeps water inside the epidermis. Beeswax is used as an ingredient in creams, ointments, soaps, balms, lip balms, foundations and more.
Creams and balms with beeswax may be applied easier and leave a protective film on the skin surface.

Preparation of lip gloss:

Check whether the received set is complete.

Prepare work place adhering to the basic rules of hygiene.
- Pour all ingredients from the set into a container (a beaker) — do not add plum seed oil.

Mix them in the heated bath stirring and slightly heating until the beeswax dissolves and the mass becomes homogeneous and fluid. Next take the beaker out of the bath and let it cool off.

When the mass reaches room temperature and has not solidified yet, add plum seed oil and mix precisely.

Then the mass should be put into receptacles, where it may solidify.

The balm is ready.
Adding pigments:
- Pour all ingredients from the set into a container (a beaker) — do not add plum seed oil.
- Mix them in the heated bath stirring and slightly heating until the beeswax dissolves and the mass becomes homogeneous and fluid. In the end, add slowly dyes and pigments — mix precisely.
- When the mass reaches room temperature and has not solidified yet add plum seed oil and mix precisely.
- Then the mass should be put into receptacles, where it may solidify.
- The balm is ready..
