Mica black

Black mica is characterized by deep black colour with gentle luster (slightly shiny) – like a soot. It is perfect for eye shadows, eyeliners and powders. When used in foundations, it gives them more subdued (dirty) colour. Black mica is one of the basic colours. As a supplement of powders, it should be used in very small amount (just a dash).

Exemplary concentrations of pigments for cream with pigment (BB):

● Black pigment – 0.05%

● Red pigment – 0.035%

● Yellow pigment – 1.5%

Preparation:

Mix (rub) pigments in a coffee grinder or a mortar.
Next pour them into a clean and dry container, add small (a few droplets) amount of oil and stir.
Then add it in very small amounts to e.g. cream base. The colour of human skin varies greatly, so add droplets of the blend, because even small amount of it may make the colour too dark.
The colour of the cream should match the colour of your skin. When necessary, you can balance the colour of the blend by adding e.g. a pigment: blue (gives cold colour), green (improves colour, reduces intensity of red).

Use	In colour cosmetics: eye and eyebrow shadows, powders and blushers. Used in small amounts to give a cold colour, in lipsticks and lip glosses, for colour regulation.
Recommended concentration	From 0,01% to 20%
Storage	At room temperature in a tightly closed container. Protect from light.
