Coffee Extract ECO

Coffee extract otrzymywanyis obtained from the roasted seeds of Coffea Arabica. It is an ideal ingredient in the following preparations: anti-cellulite, which reduce adipose tissue, anti-aging (a strong antioxidant), antiseptic and cleansing. The most important ingredients of coffee include proteins, polysaccharides, carbohydrates, aromatic substances and above all precious caffeine. The coffee is also rich in minerals and microelements.

Caffeine – 1, 2, 3-trimethylxanthine is an methylxantic alkaloid. A pure caffeine is a very bitter white powder. It was isolated for the first time in 1819 by a German chemists Ferdinand Runge and described in 1821 by two French chemists - Pierre Joseph Pelletier and Pierre Jean Robiquet (Weinberg&Bealer, 2001).

A cup of coffee contains 0.10 to 0.25g of caffeine, depending on the type of coffee and the way it was prepared. Xanthines and polyphenols in the coffee influence the adipose tissue (cellulitis), stimulate the nervous system by the inhibition of phosphodiesterase enzyme and the increase of CAMP cellular level.

The anti-cellulite properties are enhanced by the activation of calcium and the increase of membranes permeability. The influence of caffeine on the reduction of adipose tissue has been confirmed by scientific studies. As an antioxidant, it catches free radicals and decreases the rate of their creation, protects cellular membranes and cytoplasm against oxidation and decreases the use of other antioxidants e.g. vitamin E or keratoids by the body.

These properties make coffee an ideal ingredient of anti-aging and hair-colour-protecting preparations. It shows anti-bacterial and blood stimulating properties.
