Nourishing, firming and bronze body lotion: coffee, carrot oil, marshmallow, karite and NMF. (1)

Nourishing and firming balm is recommended for a day-to-day care of every type of complexion. Owing to the presence of coffee, it has firmning and antiseptic properties as well as it helps in the reduction of adipose tissue and enhances the fight against cellulitis. The balm improves blood circulationthe fact which, in the case of our coffee extract, has been confirmed by clinical tests. It additionally regulates the functions of the skin, helps improving its condition as well as moistens the skin intensively. Thanks to carrot oil the regular use of the balm provides the skin with browning colour and allows for its successful use as a bronzer.

Coffee extract ECOCERTis a perfect ingredient in anti-cellulitis, fat reducing, anti-aging (a strong antioxidant), antiseptic and cleansing preparations. Xnathines and polyphenols which are present in the coffee influence adipose tissue (cellulitis) and stimulate nervous system by inhibiting the phosphodiesterase enzyme as well as increasing the level of cellular cAMP. The anticellulite effect is also enhanced by the mobilization of calcium and the increase of membranes’ permeability.

Carrot macerate (oil)  shows anti-inflammatory properties, increases the defensive abilities of the skin against infections, protects against the effects of sun beams and accelerates the healing of injuries. The carrot oil regulates the functions of skin and assists in the improvement of its condition. When used regularly, the skin becomes more firm and elastic. The use in large doses dyes skin and hair. It can be used as a natural bronzer, however, one should retain the concentration of no more than 5%.

Marshmallow extract softens the skin and makes it even, it shows anti-inflammatory properties, it protects against harmful effects of the environment and becomes responsible for the skin regeneration, it alleviates irritations, it protects dry skin and hair and finally it alleviates burnings. The marshmallow also inhibits the degradation of hyaluronic acid which is one of the components of intercellular cement of our skin and is responsible for the cohesion of connective tissue as well as skin elasticity. It has a positive influence on maintain a proper level of skin moistening, protecting it against the effects of aging.

Karite oil protects against UV radiation, moistens and firms the skin, alleviates irritations and burnings, becomes a perfect product used as an additive to skin-care cosmetics. It is very well absorbed, leaving the skin properly moisturized and nourished.

NMF is a substance which protects the skin against dehydration. It allows for keeping a proper level of water in the upper parts layers of the skin. It also plays a crucial role in retaining physical properties of outer layers of the skin (horny layer). The components of NMF include aminoacids, urea, AHA acids as well as their lactates and PCA.

The components of a set required for the preparation of 200g of balm:

1. Cream base – 120g
2. Karite oil -26g
3. Coffee extract ECO – 10g
4. Marshmallow extract – 10g
5. Carrot macerate – 6g
6. NMF – 2g
7. Label
8. Pipette
9. Wooden spatula
10. Elegant bottle for the balm in the set

The quantities of all ingredients are precisely measured.

The set does not contain water (hydrolate).

Additional elements which are not included in the set:

• Water or hydrolate: 26ml – measure by means of attached pipette or measuring vessel.

The preparation of the balm:

1. Checking whether the received set is complete and preparing additional ingredients (water or hydrolate).

2. The preparation of a work place adhering to the basic rules of hygiene.

3. Add proper amount of distilled water (demineralizated) and attached oil into a receptacle with a cosmetic base, subsequently mixing everything until all ingredients are blended and the mass becomes homogenous.

4. Next, add NMF and stir everything.

5. Add the remaining ingredients attached to the set into the obtained cream. The ingredients should be poured very precisely almost to the last drop while emptying receptacles. Stir every time an ingredient is added.

6. Then, mix everything very precisely. The cream is ready to use.

7. At the end, one may add an essential oil.

The balm can be stored in room temperature up to 21°C. However, it is recommended to store it in a fridge.
